Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts of Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Una of Himachal Pradesh from 06 Oct 2020 to 14 Oct 2020 at Paddal Ground, Mandi (HP) for Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Ammunition Examiner) (AT), Soldier Technical (Aviation) (‘X’ Group) and Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant) Category. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 07 Aug 2020 to 20 Sep 2020. Admit cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 21 Sep 2020 onwards. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card. Candidates will be screened for various Soldier Technical category and as per Qualitative Requirements (QR) mentioned below :-
a) Soldier Technical (Male).
1. Education QR: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
2. Number of Post: 01.
b) Soldier Technical (Ammunition Examiner) (AT) (Male).
1. Education QR: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
2. Number of Post: 01.
c) Soldier Technical (Aviation) (‘X’ Group) (Male).
1. Education QR: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject
2. Number of Post: 01.
d) Soldier Technical (NursingAssistant) (Male).
1. Education QR: (i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject. OR (ii) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botony, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
2. Number of Post: 01.
Note. Education Certificates issued by Education Boards affiliated to/ listed by COBSE, AICTE, CBSE and NIOs only will be considered.
Age: 17.5- 23 Years.
Documents / certificates :-
Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with two attested photocopies with them to the rally site :-
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts/photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted (SIKH and SIKH (M&R) candidates photographs should be with Turban /Patka).
(c) Education Certificates. (i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University. (ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University. (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC) of last class attended in regular school duly countersigned by BEO / DEO.
(d) Nativity Domicile / Bonafide Himachal Certificate. Online Nativity Domicile / Bonafide Himachal Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate. The certificate should be verifiable on concerned website of state Govt (edistrict.hp.gov.in). (e) Dogra Class & Caste Certificate. Online Dogra Class and Caste Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
(f) Religion and Minority Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM (if religion as “SIKH/ HINDU/ MUSLIM/ CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate). Minority Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/ SDM is mandatory for SIKH/ MUSLIM/ CHRISTIAN.
(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/ College/ Principal/ Headmaster where the candidate last studied. (h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months. (k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/ SOEX/ SOW/ SOWW candidates are required to produce the following documents :- (i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particulars of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/ stamp is endorsed. (ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class/ Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit is attached as per Appendix A. (iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced. Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.
(l) Sports Certificate. Sports certificates issued by the authorised sports federations are valid for two years from the issue date as on first day of the recruitment rally, for which the candidate is being screened (Sports certificates should be with registration number & gradation certificate of verification). For list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website. The level of participation, positions and authorised sports federations for issue of ibid certificates are as follows :- (i) Participation & Positions. (aa) Sportsmen represented India at International level. (ab) Represented State at the Senior/Junior National level and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto eighth position in team event. (ac) Represented College/University in Inter University Championship and have won any medal in individual event or have reached up to sixth position in the team event. (ad) Represented State at National Level in Khelo India Games and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto sixth position in the team event. (ae) Represented District at the State Level and have won any medal in individual event or have reached upto fourth posn in the team event. (af) Represented the State School team in the events organized by All India School Games Federation and have won any medal in individual event or upto sixth position in the team event. (ii) Authorised Sports Federations for Issue of Sports Certificates. (aa) All International Championship - Respective Accredited Sports Federation certificates of India (ab) All Senior / Junior National - Respective National Federation recognized Championship certificates by the Min of Youth Affairs & Sports. (ac) All University level certificates - Inter University Sports Board (ad) All National Level in Khelo India - Respective National Federation / Sports Games Championship certificates Authority of India recognized by the Min of Youth Affairs & Sports (ae) All State level certificates - Respective State Sports Federation as recognized by the State Sports Ministry (af) All State School level certificates - All India School Games Federation. (m) Certificate of Bonus Marks. All original certificates/ photocopy duly attested pertaining to Bonus marks will be accepted only during
(n) Affidavit. Duly signed by candidates on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as per specimen given at Appendix B duly attested by notary will be submitted by all candidates. For ESM candidates, this Affidavit will be in addition to Affidavit given at Para 4 (k) (ii) (Appendix A) of Rally Notification.
(o) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card. Single Bank Account, PAN Card & Aadhar Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay & allowances and other social benefit schemes.
Note :- (i) Bonus marks will be accorded only on qualifying in the written examination. (ii) Only one ward of SOS / SOEX / SOW / SOWW can avail bonus marks in written examination. (iii) Relaxation and bonus marks will be permissible and allotted only on production and deposition of original certificates at the Rally Site. NCC A/B/C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders and only at Rally Site. In case of certificates not being verified on time, bonus marks will not be allotted and the responsibility will not rest with the recruitment / Army authorities. (iv) Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 20 marks even if a candidate qualifies for more than one type of bonus marks. (v) Validity period of Sports Certificates will be within two years as on the date of screening. (b) Producing of fake certificate will be dealt severely. (c) Candidates are allowed to take part in one category only during the recruitment rally. (d) Suggestions and complaints on recruitment can be submitted in writing by candidates through suggestion box held with Grievance Cell at the rally site / Army Recruiting Office, Mandi (HP). (e) Candidates found using unfair means will be disqualified and punitive action will be taken against them. FIR will be lodged against candidates caught using unfair means at any stage.
(f) Recruitment is purely based on merit list depending on available vacancies. Candidates do not have any right to claim recruitment in Army just by passing the recruitment tests. (g) Candidates will report at 00.01 AM at entry gate of rally ground on the days of the rally. GATE WILL CLOSE AT 05.00 AM EVERYDAY. (h) Use of Mobile phone is NOT allowed inside the Rally site & Written Exam premises. (j) Married candidates below 21 years of age are not eligible for enrolment into the Army. (k) Candidates/Father/Mother/relative of candidate will not have any rights for claiming compensation or to hold Indian Govt/Indian Army responsible for any injury, death, disease or disability suffered during the various physical tests undergone by the candidate at the time of recruitment. All candidates will be appearing for various tests in their own interest and risk. (l) Candidates not in possession of requisite certificates are liable for rejection. (m) Candidate will not get entry without documents mentioned at Para 4 above and he will be rejected at the time of pre height checking itself. (n) Candidates will not be permitted to leave the rally ground once allowed to enter, so they are advised to bring their own refreshments as required. (o) WARNING :- (i) Beware of Touts and Antisocial Elements. Touts cannot get you recruited in Indian Army. Do not waste your money on touts. Recruitment process has been computerized and touts cannot do anything. Have faith on your hard work. (ii) Producing fake documents & giving false info will liable you for terminating your service in spite of any number of years service you may render.
Important Instructions :-
1. Administration. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking water with them since recruitment is a time consuming process.
2.Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police. 8. Recruitment into the Army is a Free Service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. Selection process during recruitment at all stages is computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.
3. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified.
4.. Giving / taking bribe, production of bogus / fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law.
5. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing / alteration of any type will not be accepted.
6. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or given wrong information at the time of recruitment despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.
7. No compensation for Death / injury / loss etc during the rally and no Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowance for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.
8. Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. Use of any kind of performance enhancing drugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening.
9. Tattoo. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. However, candidates belonging to tribal communities/ from tribal areas as declared by the Govt of India Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders Act/Lists (amended and modified from time to time) are permitted to have permanent body tattoos on any part of the body, as per existing customs and traditions of the said tribe to which a candidate belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing a certificate as per format attached at Appendix ‘C’ duly signed by DC/DM/SDM of the District/Tehsil where the tribe of the candidate is presently settled or Chairman/Secretary/any other senior member of the Tribe.
10. If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.
11. Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are despatched for training.
12. Mobile phones or any such communication devices are not permitted in the rally site and at the time of CEE.
13. Candidates are advised to their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.
14. Candidates may have to present themselves at rally site for three to four days. Candidates should make arrangements for stay under their own arrangements.
15. Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.
16. Result of written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidates. It is responsibility of candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.
