Next Assassin’s Creed Game Could Be Set in India, Ubisoft Insider Claims Map Will Be Larger Than Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed is among the most popular games worldwide, including India. The company could soon launch its next game that would be set up majorly in India. According to TechRadar, a  leak on 4chan states that the next Assassin’s Creed game will be based in India. The draft map posted by the leaker shows India in the 17th century with the British, Dutch and other European countries establishing their colonies. The game will also include Bangladesh, and a part of Pakistan. It is also said that the map in the upcoming game will be larger than the one in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Let’s take a look at the leaked Assassin’s Creed game details that will include parts of India.

Upcoming Assassin’s Creed game to have parts of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan

An Assassin’s Creed previously did include India in its settings. However, the portrayal was limited in the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles. According to a new leak, the developers will setup their upcoming game in India.

A Ubisoft insider claims to have leaked details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game. The tipster has posted an alleged draft map that shows India in the 17th century. It will also include parts of Pakistan and Bangladesh alongside. It is also said to include the Taj Mahal as well. This map will apparently be larger than the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Since the game is set up in the 17th century, the map shows colonies established by the British, Dutch and other European countries. It is mentioned that the emphasis will apparently be on the British East India Company and the Dutch East India Company, that will form rival factions.

The report mentions that there are no talks yet of naval gameplay. It is set to have a fully written female protagonist and players will be able to pick to play as either gender, following the tradition set by Odyssey and Valhalla.

More importantly, the upcoming game will be exclusive to the newer generation of consoles. The report states that the game developers have no intention of releasing it for PS4 or Xbox One.

We recommend you taking the leaked information with a pinch of salt.
